Julen Lopetegui is in the best position to manage Manchester United

Erik ten Heg’s position is weakening after recent results, a home defeat by Bournemouth and relegation from the Champions League groups, writes the Daily Mail.

Ten points behind leaders Liverpool, United travel to Anfield on Sunday and the result could have consequences for the Dutch manager.

According to the Spanish media, the club is already looking for a replacement, and the former coach of the Spanish national team, Julen Lopetegui, is considered the favorite of the management.

The Spaniard recently turned down an offer from Saudi Arabia of €18 million a season, announcing that he wants to return to the Premier League.

Lopetegui parted ways with Wolverhampton in August after nine months in charge due to strained relations with the club’s owners over transfer policy.
