For nine days, I have been protesting in front of the General Prosecutor’s Office and the Prosecutor’s Office of the Bucharest Court of Appeal against the unfair and outrageous decision to close the slanderous case, writes the journalist on Facebook.

Journalist Emilia Serkan earlier announced that the case had been opened after she alleged a sting operation against her after prosecutors closed exposés on the plagiarism of former prime minister Nicolae Chuke’s doctoral dissertation. The journalist says that the case was completely closed by the Prosecutor’s Office of the Court of Appeal of Bucharest, Prosecutor Nicoleta Rotaru, deciding that none of the 7 crimes in the case existed.

Sherkan protests, holding one of the personal photos that has been repeatedly published through an organized action and based on information leaked from the police, the release of which was later withheld, “most likely thanks to a special services operation”, according to Emilia Sherkan.

Journalist’s message:

“I am protesting against the scandalous decision to close the classified documents, in which the prosecutor established that the 3 crimes I complained about do not exist, and 4 more are not provided for by the criminal law.

I protest against the impunity offered by the prosecutor’s office to all involved in my compromise, organized by people from the police, and then covered up, most likely, by people connected to the special services.

Starting on Friday, November 24, I sat in front of the General Prosecutor’s Office and the Prosecutor’s Office of the Bucharest Court of Appeal for two to three hours each working day, except for the weekends of November 30 and December 1.

When the weather was warmer, I would stay for three hours, and on days when it was very cold or raining, I would stay for about two hours. Last Thursday and Friday I walked around with a cold.

I cannot agree with the decision to close the case, given that the investigation was not conducted properly, and the essential materials of the criminal prosecution were either not compiled at all, or were done for salvation, always for the benefit of the guilty and with the obvious purpose of burying. truth.

Despite all the heartbreaking decisions in the case, one prosecutor said that the repeated publication of intimate photos is not a violation of privacy at all. The prosecutor did not see the intention, intentionality and long-term form of action, stating that the publication of intimate photos taken at home is not a violation of the private life of a citizen.

The prosecutor’s office trampled on my dignity as a man and a woman, the decision was unacceptable to me.

The decision is a huge act of injustice, injustice”

Therefore, I protested and will protest every day in front of the prosecutor’s office, one of the repeatedly published photos, which the prosecutor decided not to violate my private life.

And I will continue to protest, even if the Prosecutor’s Office of the Bucharest Court of Appeal upholds the classification decision.

PS Given this announcement, I expect that in about two days I will receive a decision confirming the classification decision from the Prosecutor General of the Bucharest Court of Appeal, which will actually have the date of December 6, 7, 8. When 8 international media organizations sent a public appeal to the Prosecutor General Romania Alex Florin Florenzi with a request not to close the case and to transfer it to the General Prosecutor’s Office, we received a decision on classification, which unfortunately was dated two years ago. days before sending the public letter
