
Gazeta Sporturilor deputy editor-in-chief Bohdan Stamatou was involved in a serious traffic accident in Ilfov County on Wednesday after the car he was driving crashed into a high voltage pole, News.ro reports.
The accident happened on Wednesday, when the police of the city of Pantelimon were alerted that a car had crashed into a high voltage pole on DJ 301.
“Traffic police from Panteleimon went to the scene and after initial checks they found that the car, moving on DJ 301 from the direction of the county of Kelerasi in the direction of the commune of Cernica, in the area of 9 km, left the side road and collided with a high voltage pole , located to the right of the road along which he was moving. As a result of the impact, the driver was injured, namely a 55-year-old man, who was taken to the hospital for specialized assistance by the medical team that arrived at the scene,” IPJ Ilfov said.
Pantelimonivka traffic police opened a criminal proceeding on the fact of inflicting bodily harm due to carelessness.
