Apple has once again crossed the $3 trillion market capitalization threshold for the third time in 2023. This is a sign that Apple is in very good shape, and reaching this threshold in the past has not been a fairy tale. Shares are up 48% year-to-date.
In early 2022, Apple became the first company to surpass the $3,000 billion market capitalization threshold after the company’s shares reached a value of $182.65. Apple surpassed 1 trillion in 2018, two years later it surpassed 2 trillion, and 17 months later it reached 3 trillion.
At the beginning of 2023, the market capitalization was below $2,000 billion and rose to over $3,000 in late June and then in early August, the peak day was July 31, and the market capitalization was approaching $3,100 billion.
At the end of October there was a dip below $2,700 billion, but then everything went well again.
In the 2022-2023 fiscal year, which began in October, total revenue was $384 billion. The company sells more than 200 million iPhones annually, and the last quarter of the year is always the best, as the latest generation (this year’s iPhone 15) is released.
