The goals of the Romanian National Para-Climbing Team are to participate in the Paralympic Games, as well as to conquer the highest peaks in the world on each continent, 7 summits, a step that started in 2020 for Alexandru Benchea and for Razvan Nedu it would be the third summit after Elbrus (5642 meters ) and Aconcagua (6962 meters).

Razvan Nedu see about 1%. He is a climbing coach for children with disabilities in Climb Again therapeutic programs and captain of the national paraclimbing team. He is distinguished by the discipline inherent in an athlete-executive and the desire to turn countless hours of training into medals at national and international competitions, as well as conquering the highest mountain peaks on 7 continents.

In 2021, Rezvan won the title of world vice-champion at the Para-climbing World Championships in Moscow, performing with his arm in a cast. As for his love of mountains and heights, Rezwan is proud to have climbed Aconcagua (6,962 meters), Elbrus (5,642 m), Mont Blanc (4,809 m), aiming to reach the Roof of Africa on December 1.

Adriana Tofan she is completely blind and has a B1 category. She discovered rock climbing through a friend who told her about her experience at the Climb Again center and became interested in trying the sport.

Soon he discovered that climbing fueled his desire for novelty, challenges, adrenaline, he began to love training hours and dedicating them to sports achievements.

In 2022, she won a silver medal at the Paraclimbing Master Imst in Austria, and this year she was the only athlete to make the team at the World Climbing Championships in Switzerland, finishing 10th.

Liviu Matei he is an RP3 climber and climbing instructor with Rezvan at Climb Again. The hours he spent between climbing walls and participating in competitions helped him a lot to build his confidence.

In 2022, when Lot was training in the mountains, he discovered the joy of hiking and altitude. After successfully climbing 4,167m Mount Toubkal in Morocco in November, he returned to Africa to climb Mount Kilimanjaro.

The head of the expedition is Teofil Vlad — a mountain guide, irreplaceable in Lot’s adventures on the high peaks. The interaction with members of Climb Again began in 2015, when Teofil tried to reach Everest, leading a project to popularize the cause of the NGO through his climb. The start was successfully completed in 2019 when he raised the Climb Again flag to the roof of the world.

Since 2020, he instills energy and motivation in the team to climb higher and higher in the mountains of the planet, relations with the association are professional through the prism of the work of a mountain guide. He resonates deeply with Climb Again’s mission and is involved in various awareness campaigns.
