Bohdan Ivan took part on Friday in Bystrica in the ceremony dedicated to the National Day of Romania, which took place near the monument to Heroes on Petru Rares Square, writes Agerpres. In his speech, the Minister of Research spoke of his two wishes: equal opportunities for all children, regardless of the environment they come from, and making Romania one of the world leaders in several key areas with the help of technology.

“I, as a young man who loves my country, who also has the honor of being the youngest member of the Romanian government, I am only 32 years old, I have some dreams for the next 10, 50 or 100 years, and the first and most important thing is that any a child in our country, regardless of whether he comes from the most remote village of our region or Romania, has the same chance as a child born in the center of Bistrica or Bucharest, to become what he dreams of ever since. he was a child. (…) I dream that Romania will become the leader of our region and one of the top 10 countries in the world in several key areas thanks to the technologies of the future. And thus, any Romanian will be able to stand straight and with his head held high in front of anyone. Just as true statesmen created the Great Union 105 years ago, true statesmen are also modernizing Romania. The problems of the country are not solved by some people who sit and live on Facebook and TikTok. Statesmen are those who come to save the country, which can be saved,” Bohdan Ivan said.

The Minister of Research also addressed the Romanians who left the country, urging them to continue to love their homeland and, when they want, to return to contribute to building a better future for Romania.
