- It takes place from November 29 to December 17.

Group A: Sweden, Croatia, China, Senegal
Group B: Montenegro, Hungary, Cameroon, Paraguay
Group C: Norway, South Korea, Greenland, Austria
Group D: France, Slovenia, Angola, Iceland
Group E: Denmark, Romania, Serbia, Chile
Group F: Germany, Poland, Japan, Iran

- The group stage matches will begin on November 29 and end on December 5.
- The top three players from all eight groups will advance to the main groups.

- Main group IV: G1, H1, G2, H2, G3, H3
- The matches in the main groups will take place from December 6 to 11.
- The first two teams from the four main groups will advance to the quarterfinals of the Women’s Handball World Cup.
- The quarter-finals will take place on December 12 and 13 (two matches per day) at the Jyske Bank Boxen in Herning.
- The semi-finals will take place on December 15 at the Jyske Bank Boxen in Herning.
- The finals (small and large) will take place on December 17 at Jyske Bank Boxen in Herning.
