OpenAI is celebrating a year since the launch of ChatGPT and the start of what many call a revolution that will radically change many areas, including human existence, news.ro reports.
ChatGPT was launched in a web version a year ago, and its success surprised not only competing companies, but also its own manufacturer, which had to adapt quickly.
Then six months passed until the first official ChatGPT app – the iOS version – was launched in May.
Meanwhile, the company launched, among other things, a major update to the GPT language and the ability to communicate with a chatbot by voice.
An important step in the evolution of ChatGPT was the release of ChatGPT+, a package of additional features available for $20 per month.
So far, it has earned the producer nearly $30 million.
In total, the ChatGPT apps for iOS and Android have amassed 110 million installs since their inception.
