On November 22, 2023, the Bucharest Court accepted the enforcement appeal formulated by the Criminal Enforcement Department of the Bucharest Court. The decision included the annulment of the custodial order issued on 13 May 2022 by the Bucharest Court of Appeal in the case of Sorin Oprescu. As a result, the court decided to cancel the European executive order and turn to general liability. The decision is not final and may be appealed within three days of notification.
