Serbia v Great Britain 2-0 in Davis Cup – Novak Djokovic beats Cameron Norrie

With one title (2010) and one lost final (2013), Serbia eliminated the much more successful Great Britain (10 titles) in the Davis Cup quarter-finals.

The first match was tight, between Miomir Kecsmanovic (55 ATP) and Jack Draper (60 ATP), the Serb decided after winning two sets in a tiebreak with the score 7-6(2), 7-6(6).

In the absence of ex-world leader Andy Murray, who announced his defeat, Novak Djokovic met Cameron Norrie (18 ATP).

Nole won decisively after two sets, one hour and 41 games, 6-4, 6-4.

Advancement to the semi-finals will see Novak Djokovic face Yannick Sinner again less than a week after the Champions Tour final.

After 2-0 in the singles matches, the doubles match between Novak Djokovic / Dusan Lajovic and Joe Salisbury / Neil Skupski went unchallenged.
