On Monday, deputies are called to discuss and vote on the Law on Pensions, a document in an emergency procedure, which was passed by the Senate last week.
The bill on the state pension system will be discussed on Monday by the Chamber of Deputies as the decision-making body, if the report of the specialized commission is published on time, News.ro reports.
The law in the form adopted by the Senate can be found HERE.
From 10:00 a.m., a meeting of the commission on labor issues is scheduled outside the schedule established for the commissions for the purpose of a report on the draft law on the state pension system.
The plenary session of the session will be held at 4:00 p.m.
The Senate approved the draft law on the state pension system at a plenary session on Tuesday after specialized commissions published an approving report with adopted amendments.
USR and AUR senatorial leaders Radu Mihail and Claudio Tarzio demanded that the legislative initiative be sent back to committees, USR asking for three weeks and AUR for at least two weeks, but both requests were rejected by senators.
After voting in favor of the project, UDR representatives said that the party’s senators had voted against the proposed law. At the same time, the leader of the AUR senators, Claudio Tarzio, said that the formation’s senators abstained from voting because “a small increase is better than nothing.”
The draft law on the state pension system was adopted by 85 votes “for”, six “against” and 19 abstentions.
