Romania is the leader of Group I of the Euro 2024 preliminary tournament after Switzerland’s draw
Switzerland made it three draws in a row after the match in Basel against the representative team of Kosovo.
Murat Yakin’s men were held to a draw by Israel three days ago and saw a repeat of the scenario on Saturday.
Ruben Vargas opened the scoring early in the second half, but despite dominating possession and scoring numerous chances, Kosovo equalized in the 82nd minute thanks to Muhamet Giseni.
Romania have 19 points to Switzerland’s 17 and need a draw in three days to finish top of the group.
