A 10-year-old child from Dambovitsa County was deprived of her liberty, threatened and sexually assaulted by three 13- and 14-year-old boys. The moments are captured on video, and the footage is shared on social networks. One of the 14-year-old aggressors was remanded in custody, and another was placed under judicial supervision. The 13-year-old aggressor is currently not criminally responsible.

“On November 17, 2023, the prosecutors of the Department for Investigating Organized Crime and Terrorism – Dambovytsia Territorial Administration made a decision to detain two defendants, minors (14 years old), suspected of committing crimes of child pornography, illegal deprivation of liberty. and sexual violence,” DIICOT said on Saturday.

According to the prosecutor’s office, on November 9, 2023, the defendants and another 13-year-old minor – who, according to the law, is not criminally responsible – “illegally deprived a 10-year-old minor of his freedom and, taking advantage of his obvious state of vulnerability caused by his young age, made him physically unable to defend himself themselves, after which they sexually assaulted him.”

“Also, with the help of a mobile phone, the accused filmed moments of aggression and openly sexual behavior and distributed pornographic material with minors on the social network,” prosecutors added.

They report that 3 search warrants were executed in the city of Krevedia, and 3 cell phones and a data drive were found and seized.

“On the evening of November 17, 2023, the rights and freedoms judge ordered preventive arrest for one of the defendants, and house arrest for the other,” DIIKOT also reports.

During the investigation of the criminal proceedings, the underage victim was assisted by a psychologist from DGASPC Dâmboviţa. (News.ro)
