Denmark and Albania qualify for EURO 2024

Albania and Denmark completed the list of teams that qualified for the 2024 European Championship.

Albania, ranked 59th in the FIFA rankings, will play in the final tournament in Germany after a draw away to the Republic of Moldova.

Sokol Cikallesi opened the scoring for the visitors (25th minute), shooting from 11 meters, but in the 87th minute, the Moldovans restored the tie thanks to Vladislav Baboglo.

With this result, Albania is confident of its presence at the Euros, having 14 points in Group E. The fight for the second place in the group will be between Moldova, Poland and the Czech Republic.

On the same evening, Denmark also qualified for the 2024 competition in Germany.

Euro-2020 semi-finalists Denmark defeated the Slovenian national team with a score of 2:1. Maele scored 1:0 (min. 25), but 5 minutes later Janza restored the draw.

The winning goal for the Danes was scored in the 54th minute, when Delaney scored a powerful shot.

With this win, Denmark climbed to 1st place in Group H with 22 points. Slovenia and Kazakhstan, who are separated by one point, will fight for the last place leading to the Euros in this group.

So far, France, Spain, Scotland, England, Turkey, Belgium, Austria, Hungary, Portugal, Slovakia, Albania and Denmark have qualified for the Euros.
