“No coalition is falling apart and no government is falling,” Prime Minister Marcel Cholaku said Wednesday night on Antena3, adding that “if someone leaves this coalition, I will hand over my mandate to Kotrocen without any hesitation.” , reports News.ro.

Responding to a question about Raresh Bohdan’s statements that he no longer supports PSD and will leave the government, Cholaku said:

  • “We sat at the coalition meeting on Monday for almost five hours (…) While you didn’t comment anything for five hours, on the contrary (…) and after a few hours you went public. space, trying to hide an unfortunate gesture – that going to the market with a 30,000 euro watch to buy parsley… to undermine the coalition, only with fake news, to cover the news about you, means that you are… irresponsible (…) This means you’re a hypocrite.”

Raresh Bohdan said that he is negotiating with USR regarding a new coalition

During an intervention on Digi 24 on Tuesday night, Raresh Bohdan threatened to break up the coalition if fees and taxes increase in 2024.

“Today we have to protect them, and not put our hands even more into the budgets of private companies and into the pockets of Romanians. To be honest, I am one of those who very much regrets that we did not try to form a right-wing coalition, and when we have the opportunity to make it right-wing, we will try to do it. The last weeks have shown me that I cannot trust the PSD,” said Raresh Bohdan.

“Staying with them is becoming more and more unbearable. A proposal to increase the single tax or fee will lead to the collapse of the Coalition,” he said.

“What the PSD is doing is absolutely immoral and uncollegial,” said the liberal.

Moreover, the first vice-president of the PNL publicly stated that the liberals are in constant dialogue with the leaders of the right-wing parties.

Raresh Bohdan claimed that he was in talks with USR about a new coalition, which was denied by USR president Katalin Drula.
