The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) on Monday released images of divers retrieving from the seabed near the Gaza Strip weapons and ammunition left behind by Hamas terrorists during an attack on Israel on October 7, The Times of Israel reports.
According to the IDF, during the attacks on October 7, Hamas naval forces tried to enter Israel by sea.
The Israeli Navy was able to kill dozens of them, largely disrupting the attack from the sea. According to the Israeli military, there have been other attempts by the terrorist group to send divers to infiltrate Israel in recent weeks.
Forces from the Israeli Navy’s Underwater Mission Unit (YALTAM) have been scanning the seabed in recent days, finding Hamas firearms, explosive devices, ammunition or rubber boats.
