“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs clarifies that on Thursday, November 9, 2023, after the integrated efforts of the Interagency Crisis Chamber through the Embassy of Romania in Cairo and the Representation of Romania in Ramallah, 41 Romanian citizens and their family members left the Gaza Strip through the Rafah border crossing (Arab Republic of Egypt ) and are on the territory of Egypt on their way to Cairo,” the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement.
41 Romanian citizens and their families were transported from the Rafah checkpoint by the rapid response team of the MAE Crisis Cell and representatives of the Romanian Embassy in Egypt, and will be escorted to Cairo by the second MAE mobile team. Crisis center.
