Wozniak, 73, was among those scheduled to speak at the 2023 World Business Forum but was hospitalized after collapsing just before the event, CNN reported, citing a source at the forum’s organizers. American television did not provide details of his condition.

According to the American news site TMZ, he told his wife that he “feels strange”.

“Several people from Steve’s team are flying in from the US on a private plane to see what happened and take him for treatment if necessary,” the Spanish-language site TMZ also writes.

According to Mexican media reports, including the Televisa channel and the daily newspaper El Universal, Wozniak suffered a stroke and is in a “stable” condition at a private hospital.

Steve Wozniak founded Apple Computer Inc. in 1976 with Steve Jobs, who died in 2011.

According to daily El Financiero, he was scheduled to speak at the World Business Forum about his work with Steve Jobs and the risks associated with technology, including artificial intelligence and cryptocurrencies.
