Electric Castle fans can officially start the countdown to the 2024 release! The 10th edition of the festival will take place from July 17 to 21, 2024, and organizers are already on the Banff field preparing the ground for the hundreds of thousands of expected participants.

Over 15,000 subscriptions have been purchased for Electric Castle 2024 since its conclusion this summer, setting an all-time record audience of 232,000 attendees. Until the first confirmed acts for the 10th edition are announced, organizers are keeping a close eye on the European Festival Awards. Electric Castle is nominated for the eighth consecutive year, this time in the “Best Large Festival” category, after winning the “Best Medium Festival” title in 2019. Here, together with industry experts, the public can nominate the best events of the year by voting.

For all the dedicated fans or those who will experience their first Electric Castle, the organizers have already started preparations for the festival. EC continues the approach started this spring to transform the festival campsite into a peaceful space with plenty of shade for the public and a park for the Bonțida community by planting trees. At the end of the project, 10,000 trees will be planted on an area of ​​approximately 10 hectares.

Electric Castle has recently joined the Green Deal Circular Festivals (GDCF) initiative, which aims to implement effective sustainability strategies for events in Europe. Thus, in addition to already known actions, including selective recycling, supporting transport Eco-friendly to and from the festival or protecting the historical heritage, Electric Castle will continue to develop new programs to reduce the impact on the environment.

Subscriptions for the 2024 edition are available at www.electriccastle.ro at a price of 89 euros as part of the early-order promotion until November 14. From now on, those interested can reserve a place in the festival camping by purchasing a pass, and later choose one of the accommodation options.
