A woman who fell from the second floor of a building in Pitesti on Tuesday morning was taken to the hospital, the police began an investigation into the case, reports Agerpres.

According to a statement sent by the Police Inspectorate of Arges County, a call was made to 112 to report that a woman who had fallen from a height was found in front of an apartment building in the Exerciţiu area.

“Police officers from the 3rd Pitesti police department went to the scene, from the first checks it turned out that the 52-year-old woman in question fell from the second floor of the building. She was picked up by a team of doctors and taken to the hospital for medical assistance,” the message reads.

Law enforcement officers conduct investigative actions to establish all the circumstances of the event, provide a legal basis for conducting inspections, and initiate criminal proceedings on the fact of intentional bodily harm.
