On Monday, work officially began on the Komarnik Bypass, a national road with one lane in each direction, about 6 kilometers long, which should be completed in two years, and Transport Minister Sorin Grindeanu also attended the event.
Transport Minister Sorin Grindeanu said on Monday during the opening of the Komarnik bypass road that during the past year the Ministry of Transport approved 60 protocols through which it decentralized all types of work to local authorities, too few, in his view, reach the stage implementation, reports News.ro
“We have reached an option that is feasible” regarding the Vala Prahova highway / Initially, the cost of this was more than 8 billion euros
Grindeanu also said that they have signed a protocol with the Prahova County Council so that by the end of the year the winner will receive the Busteni-Azuga belt, so that after that they will enter the design phase and work will begin next spring.
When asked about the state of the highway, the Minister of Transport said that the first section that will be auctioned during this period is Christian-Kodli.
“We have had countless discussions regarding the Komarnik-Brasov highway route, costs. It initially cost around €8 billion, for around 160 kilometres, which exceeds the ministry’s authority to fund such work. And then there were a few good months, this year, when we reached an option that is feasible, that has funding, and those who are doing this feasibility study will start to complete all these sections over the next year,” he noted.
