“On the evening of November 4, the Armed Forces of Ukraine successfully struck the marine and port infrastructure of the Zaliv shipyard in the temporarily occupied Kerch,” the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported.

Ukraine has stepped up its attacks on its territories occupied by Moscow’s forces and on Russian territory amid a slow-moving counteroffensive launched by Kyiv in early June.

Crimea, the base of the Russian Black Sea Fleet and a key supply route for Russian troops occupying southern and eastern Ukraine, is regularly shelled.

The governor appointed by the Russians in Crimea, Serhii Aksyonov, in turn, stated that Ukraine fired missiles at the shipyard in Kerch, assuring that they had been shot down.

“There are no victims,” he wrote on the social network.
