Jeonbuk Hyundai failed to claim a first trophy with Dan Petrescu on the bench after losing 4-2 to Phoang Steelers in the South Korea Cup final.

Jeonbuk Hyundai beat Pohang Steelers 4-2 in South Korea Cup final

Jeonbuk led 1-0 and 2-1, but Pohang prevailed, scoring three times in the final half of the match.

Song Min-Kyu (’17) and Gustavo (’51 penalty) scored for Jeonbuk.

The goals for the Pohang team were scored by Han Chang Hee (’44), Zeke (’74), Kim Jung Woo (’78) and Hong Yun Sang (’90+2).

Pohang won the Cup for the fifth time and now matched with Suwon Samsung and Jeonbuk Hyundai.
