University of Cluj and CFR Cluj, equal in a great atmosphere at Cluj Arena

Cluj and CFR Cluj played to a 1:1 draw in the second round of the Romanian Cup groups.

Ioan Ovidiu Sabau’s team opened the scoring 4 minutes before the break, during which Krešić scored an own goal.

In the second half, Andrea Mandorlini’s wards returned to the game and began to put pressure on the home team’s goal.

Coming on in the 60th minute, Birlighea needed just 6 minutes to restore parity

After 4 minutes, Dan Nistor recovered very well to break into the box but inexplicably missed from a very good position.

Birlighea scored again for CFR Cluj, but his success was canceled out by an attacking foul.

The final score is 1-1 and the two teams remain favorites to qualify for the next stage of the competition.
