The fourth seed in Paris, Sinner exited after a grueling match against Mackenzie MacDonald in the second round (6-7(6), 7-5, 6-1), the match ended at 02:40 (France capital time).

Tired and unhappy with the schedule of the French organizers, Sinner announced on Thursday that he must withdraw from the ATP 1000 event.

In the 1/8 finals, Sinner had to meet Alex de Minaur (13th seed). After the elimination of the Italian, the Australian advanced to the quarterfinals without playing.

The Rolex Paris Masters tournament runs from October 30 to November 5 on an indoor hard court. It has a total prize pool of €5,779,335 and the championship title is Holger Rune (2022). The competition at the Accor Arena in Bersa is part of the ATP Masters 1000 category.
