Yannick Sinner qualified for the final act of the ATP tour in Vienna on Saturday.
The Darren Cahill-trained player defeated Andrei Rublev (5 ATP) in straight sets after a hard-fought match, which the Italian completed in one hour and 52 minutes.

The athlete, who is ranked 4th in the ATP hierarchy, will meet Daniil Medvedev (3 ATP) in the grand final, while the Russian, in turn, defeated Stefanos Tsitsipas in the other semi-final with a score of 6-4, 7-6(6).
With his semi-final victory, Sinner became the Italian player with the most wins in a season in the Open era, with 55, surpassing Corrado Barazzutti’s 54 in 1978.
The ATP Vienna final is scheduled for Sunday, October 29, from 3:00 p.m.
This will be the fourth meeting this year between Sinner and Medvedev after meetings in Rotterdam, Miami and Beijing.
