Barcelona opened the scoring in the 28th minute in the confrontation with the Ukrainians from Shakhtar Donetsk. Fermin Lopez’s shot hit the crossbar, then the ball flew to Ferran Torres, who turned it into the net.

Eight minutes later, Lopez missed the goal again, his execution from the edge of the penalty area found contact.

Shakhtar reduced the deficit in the 62nd minute through Sudakov, and Lopez once again sent the ball into the goal, but the goal was disallowed due to offside.
