The project envisages the installation of two 93PMG2 300 kW UPS (uninterruptible power supply systems) in the first stage, the total capacity of which will reach 1200 kW.

Eaton UPSs are connected to lithium batteries, which have a long service life of 15 years and withstand daily charge-discharge cycles. The advantages of this solution offered by Eaton are numerous, as we are talking about an efficiency of 96.7% at 50% load, which significantly reduces the electricity bill at these capacities. In addition, the Hot Sync technology ensures parallel operation and double conversion of the UPS even in the event of a communication segment failure. Hot-swappable power modules can also be quickly replaced, ensuring system uptime.

Thanks to the EnergyAware technology, it is possible to effectively balance electricity, thus increasing the production of renewable sources.

UPSs connect to energy storage, and for them lithium batteries are an ideal choice. The developed solution allows you to provide additional energy in the network, turning the data center into a prosumer, which contributes to the stability of the network, especially during periods when energy problems occur. The solution offered by Eaton evaluates the energy demand and ensures the optimal operation of the entire system, delivering energy stored additionally in the batteries to the network and internal consumers as needed. The batteries can be charged during the day when the photovoltaic panels produce a large amount of energy.

One of the increasingly important elements in the development of data centers is cyber security, and in this section the solutions offered by Eaton stand out for their increased security. One of the gateways for hackers into this type of system is the communication components, which are inherently vulnerable to this type of attack. In this case, a decision was made for communication cards that comply with the IEC 62443-4-2 cyber security standard, thus ensuring a high level of protection for the implemented system.

Important in everything that means the process of correct operation of these systems, also have switchboards, because they are designed to ensure selectivity, and their architecture allows for further modernization. Thus, there is an important margin of flexibility, as another UPS can be added to the system at any time to increase the total capacity.
