From now on, it will be easier for those who want to find a job in the Vatican. With the update of the website of the Secretariat of the Economy, a section “Jobs with us” has been added, where it is possible to view the vacancies that are or will be vacant and to which interested persons can apply, Avvenire reports, citing Radio Radio Romania.
Until Monday, sending resumes spontaneously without knowing what vacancies were available was the only way for non-professionals to participate in the selection process.
But what are the positions in the Vatican? All information about vacancies and the characteristics required of the candidate will be published in the “Work with us” section on the website of the Secretariat of the Economy.
Those interested can submit their request through the website, Luis Herrera, director of human resources at the Holy See, told Vatican News.
The first four jobs available on the site are for a Portuguese-speaking editor, a risk manager with finance and real estate skills, a manager specializing in securities and trading analysis, and a financial expert.
It is still possible to send a resume that is not related to a specific job offer.
“It often happens,” Herrera emphasized, “that ministries and departments receive requests for personnel with certain specializations, such as linguistic or technical, which are not easy to find. The new website will facilitate the connection between supply and demand.”
