The land is owned in equal shares with his brother George, according to the property declaration. The Cîțu family came to own the forests through restitution made after some court verdicts.
In 2005, the Vilcha court ordered to restore the ownership of 10 hectares of forest for Sitsu’s father, Vasyl. In 2012, the Brezoi District Court forced the local Voyneasa Land Fund Commission to restore the Tsitsu family’s ownership of 40 hectares of land with forest vegetation.
