The main favorite of the ATP tournament in Stockholm, Holger Rune, was eliminated in the 1/8 finals.

The player, who is ranked 6th in the ATP hierarchy, was defeated in two sets by Miomir Kecmanovic (53 ATP), after a match that lasted an hour and 44 minutes.

In the quarterfinals, Serbian Miomir Kecmanovic will meet the winner of the duel between Elias Imer (168 ATP) and Dino Prizmich (165 ATP).

The Stockholm Open takes place from October 16 to 22 and is part of the ATP 250 category. The tournament is held on hard surfaces with a total prize fund of €750,950. The 2022 champion is Holger Rune.
