Moroccan Nussair Mazraoui, pro-Palestinian messages on social networks

The 25-year-old Moroccan international posted a video on social media on Sunday in which he wished the Palestinians victory in the conflict with Israel: “God, help our oppressed brothers in Palestine to achieve victory. May God have mercy on the dead, may God heal their wounds.”

Bayern Munich said in a statement that it immediately contacted Mazraui, who is playing for his national team, and that he would hold discussions with the player upon his return to Munich, according to Agerpres.

“Everyone, including every employee and every player, knows what Bayern value. I have already expressed them publicly and unequivocally immediately after the terrorist attack on Israel.

We care about and support our friends in Israel. At the same time, we hope for the peaceful coexistence of all the peoples of the Middle East,” the press release said.

Hamas militants launched a surprise attack on Israel on October 7 and killed about 1,300 people, mostly civilians.

In response, the Israeli military bombed Gaza, a small impoverished and besieged enclave between Israel and Egypt, for days, killing more than 2,200 Palestinians, most of them civilians, including 724 children, according to local authorities.
