
Two people were killed and another was injured in an armed attack on Monday evening in Brussels, the attacker managed to escape, the prosecutor’s office in the Belgian capital told AFP.
According to a video published by the Flemish daily Het Laatste Nieuws, the attacker, a man wearing a fluorescent orange jacket and riding a scooter, fired several shots with an automatic rifle before fleeing.

Two people were killed and another was injured as a result of the attack committed this evening in Brussels, the spokesman of the Belgian Federal Prosecutor’s Office, Eric Van Duys, officially announced.
He said the suspect, who he said “was inspired by Islamic State”, had not yet been caught by police.
“Go home and stay in your houses until the threat is removed,” he asked the Belgians.
