Patrizia Sieg, match with Kateryna Makarova in the 1/8 finals of Transylvania Open

Patricia Sieg, ranked 462nd in the WTA, had a difficult match in the first round in Cluj-Napoca.

Leading in the first set with a score of 4-1, the Romanian made a remarkable comeback, winning five in a row.

Sigg could have decided the match in the second set, but after three missed match points, Matula sent him to a tiebreak where he leveled at 7-5.
