Recorder reports that renowned journalist Cristian Tudor Popescu will collaborate with them and produce live shows that will be streamed exclusively online and can be viewed on the Recorder Talks YouTube channel. The show will be called “Cap la cap” with Anka Simina and Cristian Tudor Popescu.

“In post-communist Romania, although few, there were also journalists who did not abandon these principles. And so they have always remained relevant, regardless of whether they spread their ideas on leaded paper, television screens, radio frequencies or the changing spaces of the Internet. We believe that the voice of these journalists should be heard, even if major press channels decide to turn off their microphones. That’s why we’re excited to announce that starting this week, Cristian Tudor Popescu will be partnering with the Recorder to create a live show that will be broadcast exclusively online,” says the Recorder.

The registrar assures that it does not comply with the restrictions imposed by news television in recent years:

“We don’t have fresh news every day, we don’t need two hours of debate every night. We go live when reality puts us in front of important events, trying to gather all relevant information.”
