“USR will send people with experience in administration, European funds, foreign policy and negotiations to Brussels. The list of candidates for the European Parliament is another proof that USR offers Romania an honest and professional alternative on the political scene,” said Ketalin Drula on Monday.
USR also noted in a statement published on the party’s website that negotiations are currently underway to build a right-wing pillar with partners from the People’s Movement Party and Forţa Dreptei, a party founded in December 2021 by former PNL president Ludovic Orbán.
“Romania needs a third way that will unite the reformist forces in the fight against the corrupt PSD-PNL bloc and the extremism of the AUR. The purpose of negotiations with USR’s partners is to propose a joint list for the right-wing European Parliament elections,” states USR.
