On Sunday morning, meteorologists issued a code yellow warning for strong winds that will affect more than half of the country’s counties, which will take effect on Sunday afternoon.

According to the specialists of the National Meteorological Service, from 18:00 on October 15 to 12:00 on October 16, the wind will temporarily increase in the south of Transylvania and Oltenia, in Dobruja, most of Moldova and in the south – to the west and east of Muntenia, with a speed of 55 – 65 km/h

In the Southern and Crooked Carpathians, especially at an altitude of more than 1,700 meters, there were generally gusts of 80-110 km/h.

Counties that received warnings: Botosani, Iasi, Vaslui, Galati, Bacau, Vranca, Braila, Tulcea, Constanta, Ialomica, Covasna, Brasov, Sibiu, Alba (eastern half), Hunedoara (southern part), Karash-Severin (eastern part ). ), Mehedyntsi, Dolj, Olt, Teleorman, as well as the northern part of Gorzh, Vilcha, Argesh, Dambovitsa, Prahova and Buzeu counties.
