Jacqueline Christian crashed out of the semifinals of the WTA 125 tournament in Rouen on Saturday after losing in straight sets to Viktoria Golubic 7-5, 6-4.

Jacqueline Christian stopped in the semifinals of the WTA 125 tournament in Rouen.

The occupant of the 100th place in the WTA hierarchy was defeated in two sets by the Swiss Victoria Golubich (105 WTA) at the end of the match, which lasted an hour and 35 minutes.

For her trip to France, Jacqueline Christian will receive a check for 5,222 euros.

In the last act of the competition, Golubich will meet with Erika Andreeva (166 WTA), who in the semifinals beat Alize Cornet (121 WTA) with a score of 6-3, 6-1.

The Rouen Open tournament is part of the WTA 125 category and takes place from October 9 to 16 on hard surfaces. Its total prize fund is $115,000, and the title champion is Maryna Zanevska.
