
Romania’s youth football team achieved its first success in the qualifying matches of the European Youth Championship 2025. The team, coached by Daniel Pancu, defeated Armenia with a score of 2:0.

In the second match of the qualifying group for the European Championship 2025, Romania’s youth team won against Armenia in the end of the game, which was dominated by the boys of Panku.
The young tricolors completely controlled the first half of the match against Armenia and managed to open the scoring in the 37th minute thanks to Catalin Vulturar, who converted Octavian Popescu’s cross.
In the second half, our team still managed the game, but there was no shortage of emotions. In the 70th minute, Tarakhchian hit the post, but in the end Stefan Bayaram increased the advantage of the Panku team (80th minute).
Thanks to this victory, Romania gets the first points in Group E.
