
PNL leader Nicolae Chuke, president of the Senate, will go to the service in the cathedral of Iasi, where the religious pilgrimage of St. Paraskeva takes place. Chuke will receive ÎPS Teofan, but he will not worship the holy relics in order to “not miss the queue”, according to liberal sources.
The PNL president will be accompanied to Iasi by several liberal ministers, including Marcel Bolosh (minister of finance), Adrian Vestea (minister of development) and Mircea Fecet (minister of the environment), reports news.ro.
By Friday, more than 180,000 pilgrims had bowed to the relics of Saint Pious Paraskeva, which are kept in the courtyard of the Metropolitan Cathedral in Iasi, and about 10,000 believers are standing in line.
On Saturday, October 14, the Holy Liturgy will be held, the service will take place on the stage located on the pedestrian Stefan cel Mare, in front of the cathedral in Iasi.
