“Deeply saddened by the loss of a citizen with dual citizenship, Romanian and Israeli, who served in the Israel Defense Forces,” the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.

The representatives of the institution expressed their condolences to the family and confirmed their support for Israel.

“Sincere condolences to the family of the deceased. We stand in solidarity with Israel in these difficult times. Romania strongly condemns the continuous attacks on the population of Israel,” the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement.

Almost 1,200 people have died since the beginning of the conflict.

The Gaza Ministry of Health announced that 493 Palestinians were killed and 2,751 wounded as a result of Israeli attacks. Israel’s Ministry of Health on Monday morning announced 2,382 wounded, 22 of them in critical condition and 345 in serious condition. There are also more than 700 dead.

Romania strongly condemns the terrorist attacks on Israel, Prime Minister Marcel Colaku said on Monday.

“Today we also received the news that a Romanian citizen was killed in these conflicts, and I believe that the Israeli state has the right to defend its country with all its forces,” Çolaku said.
