Victoria (49 years old) and David Beckham (48 years old) recently spoke about accusations of infidelity, which were brought to the former football player during his performances for Real Madrid.

The former football player said that he and Victoria went through a critical period due to rumors of infidelity and distance, but they fought for each other and managed to save their marriage.

“When I moved to Spain it was difficult because… I only had one club and one family for my whole career from the age of 15. I was 27, I left for the night, the next day I wake up in a city where I don’t speak the language and, more importantly, I have no family with me.

Every time I woke up, I felt like something had come up. I felt… I think we both felt then… not that we were losing each other, but that we were drowning,” David Beckham said in his documentary, The Independent writes.

“How did you survive this long?” asked the legendary Manchester United player.

“I don’t know,” David Beckham said with tears in his eyes.
