Policeman Dariusz Mioduski got caught – Josu and Radovan Pankov were detained

Shocking scenes took place in the Dutch city of Alkmaar: football players of “Legia” Warsaw, Josue and Radovan Pankov, were detained by the police, and the president of the club, Dariusz Mioduski, was beaten by law enforcement officers.

The unusual incidents happened shortly after the end of the post-match conference between the coaches of the two teams, Pascal Jansen and Kosta Runyaic.

The stadium was closed because Legia fans were leaving the premises at that time. Due to the closed gates, some of the football players, as well as the management of the Warsaw club, could not get to the coach.

According to Polish journalists, officers and guards behaved aggressively, resulting in a verbal altercation and even a fight.

When Dariusz Mioduski (president of Legia Warsaw – with long gray hair in the video) tried to get on the bus, Dutch police stopped him and pushed him, then punched him in the face.

After everyone managed to leave the stadium, a fight broke out near the coach. As Legia.net reports, football players Josue and Radovan Pankov were detained and handcuffed when they defended their colleagues.

The police set an ultimatum – either Josue and Pankov will leave the coach voluntarily, or the officers will stage an assault. Eventually both came out and were arrested.

At night, Legia arrived at the hotel, but without the two footballers in question. Whether they will be able to return with the team to Poland before lunch is unknown.

The Dutch publication De Telegraaf writes that even before the match, a fight broke out between Legia fans and officers at the entrance gate to the stadium.
