Al-Tay, the third defeat in a row under the command of Laurentiu Regekampf

Al Tay suffered their third straight defeat in all competitions.

Laurentiu Regekampf’s team lost the match against Al Taawon with a score of 3:0.

With Andrii Cordea and Marko Dugandzic in the starting line-up, Al Tai conceded a goal after just 11 minutes when Musa Barrow opened the scoring before Joao Pedro extended the hosts’ lead two minutes later.

In the second half, the hosts dissipated their emotions when Alvaro Medran (min. 57) scored 3:0.

It was the third consecutive defeat for Al Tayyah since the appointment of Laurentiu Regekampf.

Also, the Romanian team was recently eliminated from the King’s Cup (2-0 with Al-Faisali) and also lost the dispute with Al-Nassr (2-1).

After 9 matches, Al-Tay is in 15th place in the first league of Saudi Arabia with only 7 points.
