“Newcastle United” made one of the surprises of the second group stage of the UEFA Champions League. The Premier League team managed to win a convincing victory over Paris Saint-Germain with a score of 4:1.

After defeating Borussia Dortmund in the opening round of the groups, Paris Saint-Germain also suffered their first defeat of the UEFA Champions League this season.

With Istvan Kovac at center stage, Luis Enrique’s side suffered an emphatic defeat at Newcastle United and remain with 3 points from their first two games.

It took England 17 minutes to score the first goal of the game. Miguel Almiron opened the scoring, and defender Dan Burn made it 2-0 in the 39th minute off a pass from Bruno Guimaraes.

In the second half, Sean Longstaff made it 3-0 for the hosts (50 minutes), but the French champions came alive and reduced the gap through Lucas Hernandez (56 minutes).

The home side scored again in the 91st minute, after Fabian Char’s superb finish, to send Newcastle ahead of PSG to top the group.
