One of the citizens of Nepal, who suffered from an explosion at a gas station in Krevedia on August 26, was brought back to the country after treatment in Germany, his health condition has improved.

“Minister of National Defense Angel Tilvar approved the execution of a humanitarian mission on Monday, October 2, from the 90th Airlift Base in Otopeni to repatriate a patient with a diagnosis of care from the University Hospital of Lübeck, Germany, to the Pius Brînzeu Clinical Emergency Hospital – Plastic Surgery Clinic in Timisoara, as a result of the improvement of his health,” the Ministry of Defense sent on Monday, as quoted by News.ro.

The source clarified that the C-27 J Spartan military plane belonging to the Romanian Air Force took off on Monday morning on the Bucharest-Lübeck-Timişoara route and returned.

The ministry specified that the mission was carried out at the request of Raed Arafat, head of the Department of Emergency Situations.

“The medical team that monitored the patient during the flight consisted of specialists from the Bucharest Clinical Emergency Hospital,” the Ministry of Defense also reports.

According to doctors from Timisoara, it is a citizen of Nepal who was surprised by an explosion at a gas station in Krevedia on August 26, 2023.

The plane with the patient landed in Timisoara at 16.50.

More than 50 people, most of them firefighters, were injured as a result of explosions on August 26 at a gas station in Krevedia. Six victims died.
