Aradon’s lawyers announce that on Wednesday, October 4, they will go on strike and will enter courtrooms only for urgent cases, writes Aradon.ro
One of the biggest problems reported by Arad lawyers is that funds allocated for ex officio lawyers have run out.
“I have repeatedly informed both professional organizations (UNBR) and creditors (Arad court/prosecutor’s office at Arad court) about the need to contact the main customers with a request that they take into account the provision of funds necessary to cover the fees for provision of the above services. Currently, the funds allocated by the State Ministry for the remuneration of ex-officio lawyers from the Arad Bar Association have been exhausted since March, and the funds allocated by the Ministry of Justice, according to the latest information, have been exhausted this month.” , said lawyer Andriy Ionitsa, dean of the Arad Bar Association.
