The Romanian national rugby team suffered another major failure in the third group match of the World Cup. Scotland won in front of the Oaks with a score of 84-0 (42-0).

After decisive defeats to Ireland (82-8) and South Africa (76-0), Romania similarly lost a match against Scotland in which the Oaks did not score.

The Scots were in complete control in Lille, while Romania remain without a point after three games in their Rugby World Cup groups.
