The lawyer for the family of Oleksandra Ivanov, the young woman who died in the Botosani maternity hospital due to the negligence of the medical staff, has announced that she will ask the prosecutors of the Prosecutor’s Office at the Court of Appeal of Suceava to offer a preventive measure. Jeanina Vera Poroshniku ​​stated that such a measure is necessary after the doctor concluded an agreement in mid-September on the distribution of immovable and movable property that was owned and on which an insurance lien was imposed.

“We will demand the preventive arrest of the suspect and the annulment of the agreement on joint use concluded after the commission of the crime and during the criminal investigation,” Poroshniku ​​said.

The doctor Mariana Pitrop, who was on duty the night of Oleksandra Ivanov’s death, transferred her assets to her husband’s name about three weeks after learning that he was a suspect in the case opened in this case, News Moldova reports.

On September 29, Mariana Pitrop was summoned to the headquarters of the District Police Inspectorate (IPJ) in Botosani to report the seizure of property belonging to her.

The woman said she still has several plots of land in Botosani Municipality and a house with attached land in her name. They also recently sold two cars that were registered in his name.

Other assets were transferred to her husband under a share agreement that was notarized in early September.

The total value of the assets he owned before the split is unknown, but the assets he still owns are estimated to be around 315,000 lei.

Oleksandra Ivanoch died in the hospital without receiving help

25-year-old Oleksandra Ivanov died on August 18, almost nine hours after she was hospitalized in the Botoshani maternity hospital. She was three months pregnant and arrived at the hospital on August 17, around 11:30 p.m., complaining of pain and bleeding.

After she was given a series of tests and an infusion, the medical staff ignored her all night. The next morning, her health deteriorated significantly, and she died in the anesthesia-resuscitation department.

The young woman did not receive medical attention for nearly seven hours, according to a preliminary report prepared by the Botosani Health Authority.

According to the source, the patient Oleksandra Ivanova was hospitalized at 11:30 p.m. with “external genital bleeding, pain in the hypogastric and lumbar region”, upon admission the diagnosis was established: “pregnancy failure, slight metrorrhagia, secondary anemia is observed.”

Sanitary inspectors found that “from 00:45, when she was administered saline and medication, until 07:35, no care manipulations were performed” on the young woman.
