Voluntari FC got the Romanian Cup off to a good start with a 2-0 home win over Farul Constanta.

Ilfov’s team opened the scoring only in the 8th minute thanks to Daniel Florea. The hosts took advantage of a mistake in the Constanța defense, and Florea finished with a free-kick.

Before the break, Voluntari could make the score 2:0, but Dumiter could not beat Buzbuchi in a 1:1 match.

In the second half, Rivaldinho restored the tie but his success was ruled out for offside.

With 15 minutes to go, Boly headed into the goal, but Fernandez made a great save.

At the end, Sigurjónsson made a great cross to Andres and the home player made it 2-0.
